Government Promotes Development of Low-Altitude Economy, Central Military Enterprises Benefit

Our reporters Liu Yuru and Xu Yunqian reported from Beijing

The low-level economy has recently made a strong comeback, with related component stocks of the CSI Military Industry Index leading the surge on April 24. Military information technology concept stocks also saw a rise, with listed central enterprises in the military industry performing strongly in recent days.

This year, the low-level economy was included in the government work report for the first time, signaling its importance as a hotspot for developing new productive forces. Wu Ximing, deputy director of the China Aviation Research Institute, proposed the implementation of special projects to guide enterprises in aviation, aerospace, electronics, and communications to deploy low-altitude industries. This move aims to leverage the technological innovation, industrial control, and safety assurance of state-owned central enterprises.

As policies are relaxed, the low-altitude economy is expected to develop rapidly, with central enterprises in the military industry actively deploying in the aerospace, electronic communications, and other fields. Aerospace Caihong, Aviation Engine Dynamics, and Zhongzhi Co., Ltd. are all optimistic about the prospects of the low-altitude economy, citing it as a strategic emerging industry with immense growth potential.

Although my country’s low-altitude economy is beginning to take shape, it still faces challenges. Central military enterprises must deepen cooperation with universities and research institutions to accelerate technology transformation and application. They also need to strengthen market expansion by collaborating with local governments and enterprises.

Central enterprises in the military industry are urged to seek diversified financing and communicate with government departments to strive for policy support and resource allocation. The research report of Soochow Securities is optimistic about the prospects of the military industry, noting that the low-altitude economy and other new productivity directions are expected to bring renewed growth and valuation restoration to the industry.

The continued activity in the low-altitude economy brings more investment opportunities and market demand to central military enterprises, driving the development of related industrial chains. The deep integration of the low-level economic innovation chain, industrial chain, talent chain, and capital chain will inject new impetus into the future development of listed military industry central enterprises.

As the low-altitude economy continues to evolve, it is expected to bring revolutionary changes to urban transportation and logistics distribution in the near future. With the right strategies and support, the low-altitude economy holds great promise for the development of central military enterprises and the overall economic landscape.
