It is one of the novelties explained by Commissioner Vercellino. Meanwhile, the vaccination campaign continues. Vaccinations for people aged 70-79 will begin on Wednesday 31 March. However, those between 75 and 79 will be called first. The vaccinations of this population group will take place both in one of the 14 local vaccination centers of the ASL / To4 and in the offices of general practitioners who have given their availability to vaccinate in the studio. Precisely for this reason, on Thursday the ASL / To4 transferred 5,570 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine to the Mauriziano in Turin from where they will be distributed in the pharmacies supported by the general practitioners who have joined the campaign.

On March 30 the vaccination campaign for the so-called “vulnerable” also begins, who will be called to the hospital hubs of Ciriè, Chivasso and the Ivrea Clinic.

As for the over eighty, all had the scheduled appointment and by April 15 the vaccination will be completed except for the Settimo area, where it will end the following week. At the end of the month, the first phase of the vaccination campaign for school staff will also end, where 6,637 were vaccinated (all first doses) and where a withdrawal rate of 20% from appointments is confirmed after the suspension and then the green light for AstraZeneca vaccine from the European Medicines Agency.
