Soldiers of the Marine Infantry River Battalion No.24 of the Colombian Navy reported that, in coordination with the Army and the National Police, they located and destroyed a laboratory for the processing of coca base paste in rural areas of Istmina.

The operation was carried out in the Boderón village in the municipality of Istmina, where they located and destroyed a laboratory for the processing of coca base paste, allegedly belonging to the Clan del Golfo. In this wooden structure, 230 gallons of liquid inputs, 50 kilograms of solid inputs and other elements necessary for the processing of coca base paste were found, such as a hydraulic jack, a weight, a metal press, among others.

The laboratory and supplies were destroyed in the places where they were found.
