One hospitalization in intensive care and 34 in the medical area

SASSARI. A total of 57,330 cases of positive Covid-19 have been ascertained in Sardinia since the beginning of the emergency. In the latest update of the Regional Crisis Unit 21 new cases were reported. In total, 1,396,645 swabs were performed, for an overall increase of 2022 tests compared to the previous figure.

There are no new deaths (1,492 in total). The figure for hospital admissions marks 34 patients in the medical area (+1 compared to the last bulletin) and one in intensive care.

Currently in Sardinia there are 2,273 people in home isolation and 53,530 (+27) the healed. On the territory, of the 57,330 positive cases ascertained overall, 15,027 (+3) were detected in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari, 8,704 in Southern Sardinia, 5,169 (+1) in Oristano, 10,965 in Nuoro, 17,451 (+17) in Sassari.
