In Tuscany 228 new cases and 5 deaths
In Tuscany there are 228 new Covid cases (225 confirmed with molecular swab and 3 by rapid antigen test), which bring the total to 283,746 since the beginning of the coronavirus health emergency. New cases are 0.1% more than the previous day’s total. The healed grew by 0.1% and reached 270,493 (95.3% of total cases). Today 8,343 molecular swabs and 9,996 rapid antigenic swabs were performed, of which 1.2% were positive. On the other hand, 6,790 subjects tested today (with antigenic and / or molecular swab, excluding control swabs), of which 3.4% were positive.
The currently positive today are 6,056, -1.8% compared to yesterday. There are 255 hospitalized (8 fewer than yesterday), of which 28 in intensive care (4 fewer). Today there are 5 new deaths: 3 men and 2 women with an average age of 75.4 years (2 in Florence, 1 in Lucca, 1 in Pisa, 1 in Grosseto). These are the data – ascertained at 12 noon today on the basis of the requests of the National Civil Protection – relating to the progress of the epidemic in the region. The average age of 228 new positives today is approximately 44 years (24% are under 20, 18% between 20 and 39, 29% between 40 and 59, 21% between 60 and 79, 8% have 80 years or older).
In Sardinia 4 deaths in the last 24 hours
There are four deaths from Coronavirus in Sardinia in the last 24 hours: a man and a woman aged 72 and 89 residing in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari and two men aged 63 and 86 residing in the Province of Southern Sardinia. There are 52 more positive cases, based on 2258 people tested and 5,425 processed swabs, both molecular and antigenic. There are 15 patients admitted to intensive care units (1 less than yesterday), 100 in the medical area (7 less than yesterday). There are 1709 people in home isolation (24 fewer than yesterday).
