In Veneto 1,966 new cases and four deaths
There are 1,966 new cases of Covid-19 recorded in Veneto in the last 24 hours, compared to 2,468 yesterday. Even today, the total number of people currently positive is growing: today the Venetians affected by Covid-19 are 26,802, yesterday they were 26,315. On the other hand, the number of total hospitalizations drops, today to 508 compared to 512 24 hours ago due to a reduction in hospitalizations in the non-critical area (484 against 486 yesterday) and a simultaneous decrease in the number of patients in intensive care ( 24 today against 26 yesterday). The number of deaths is also down: four today against six yesterday.
Tuscany, 1,273 new cases and two more deaths
Another 1,273 new cases and another two deaths from Covid in the 24 hours in Tuscany according to the usual daily report of the Region. The latest victims were in Pisa and Livorno and bring the total deaths to 10,116 people since the beginning of the pandemic. With the new cases the total of positives rises to 1,158,838 (+ 0.1% on the total of the previous day). The healed also grew by 0.1% and reached 1,124,980 (97.1% of total cases). The healed in the 24 hours were 1,194 according to the negative swab. The currently positive are 23,742 today (+ 0.3% on yesterday).
Calabria, 503 new infections and two deaths
According to the Covid-19 emergency bulletin released by the Health Protection Department of the Calabria Region, 503 new infections are registered (out of 4,006 swabs carried out), +1,068 recovered and 2 deaths (for a total of 2,625 deaths). The bulletin also records -567 currently positive, +1 hospitalizations (for a total of 157) and, finally, -1 intensive care (for a total of 6).
In Abruzzo 486 new positives and two deaths
There are 486 new positive cases of Covid recorded today in Abruzzo, bringing the total from the beginning of the emergency – net of realignments – to 409,305. The death toll records two new cases and rises to 3,342. Regional Health Department specifying that the number of positive cases also includes 388,732 discharged / healed (+781 compared to yesterday). The currently positives in Abruzzo are 17,231 (-298 compared to yesterday). Of these, 172 patients (unchanged from yesterday) are hospitalized in the medical area; 3 (unchanged from yesterday) in intensive care, while the rest are in home isolation.
Fiaso: -16.3% hospitalizations, trend decline for over a month
The curve of Covid admissions in hospitals is still falling. The downward trend seems to have consolidated: for the fifth consecutive week the number of patients hospitalized in Covid areas decreases, both in ordinary wards and in intensive care, by 16.3%.
