There are 5,193 positive tests for coronavirus registered in Italy in the last 24 hours, with 333,741 molecular and antigenic swabs carried out and a positivity rate of 1.6%. There were 57 victims. There were 547 hospitalized in intensive care (yesterday there were 548), with 40 daily admissions (yesterday 37). In Lombardy 596 cases and 3 deaths

Together with Veneto, Lombardy records 596 new cases of Covid19, the highest value among the regions. In Lombardy three people have died since yesterday from complications related to the virus. According to the Civil Protection bulletin, the number of hospitalized patients with symptoms rose to 402 in the region, 11 more than yesterday. In Milan and its province the new infected are 179 in the last 24 hours.

Piedmont, 232 cases and two deaths

Today the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region communicated 232 new cases of people who tested positive for Covid-19 (of which 17 after antigen tests), equal to 0.7% of 33,984 swabs performed, of which 28,699 antigenic. Two deaths, Of the 232 new cases, 97 are asymptomatic (41.8%). The cases are divided as follows: 29 screenings, 150 case contacts, 53 with ongoing investigation, 3 imported from abroad.

Campania, 449 positives and two deaths

There are 449 new Covid positives registered in Campania out of 20,049 swabs processed. This is communicated by the regional crisis unit. There are two deaths in the last 48 hours, but also 4 previously but recorded yesterday. 21 ICU beds are occupied out of the 656 available and 342 in hospital out of 3,160.
