The Sampedrina festivities were felt in the towns of Vegalarga and Río Ceibas, where the inhabitants gathered to celebrate and enjoy the traditional Sampedrina Ronda.
From 11:30 am, the central square San Antonio de Anaconia became the epicenter of joy, where folklore and regional traditions resonated strongly, leading attendees to dance and sing to the rhythm of the music.
The event was not only marked by music and dance, but also by the choice of the representatives for the Popular Reign of Bambuco and Heirs of Traditionwho captivated the public with their interpretation of the Sanjuanero Huilense and their dedication in preparing for this important contest.
“As in all the Sampedrina rounds that we have carried out in the municipality of Neiva and its townships, this day has had outstanding participation from the community and solid support for its candidates,” said Omar Quintero, Director of the Municipal Festival.
