The councilor of the Liberal party in the municipality of Pelaya, Hernán Cardozo Ramírez, 45 years old, was found dead in the patio of his home in the Las Flores neighborhood, of this town in the south of Cesar.
The event happened early this Friday, but it was not until the early hours of the morning when the neighbors noticed the body hanging from the ceiling.
This death has caused consternation among the inhabitants of Pelaya, because the lobbyist was well known by everyone in the town, where he was known as ‘Mano, Mano’, for his work as a social and political leader, as well as for his dedication to the field.
After his death, personnel from the Sijín of the National Police carried out the technical inspection of the body, which was transferred to the Legal Medicine morgue of Aguachica. Based on the evidence at the scene of the death, everything indicates that Cardozo Ramírez took his life for unknown reasons, for his loved ones and relatives.
