TREVISO. Donika Nikollbibaj did not make it, the 24-year-old involved in Saturday’s accident on the Castellana in Padernello di Paese. The girl died on Wednesday at the Ca ‘Foncello hospital, where she had been hospitalized in desperate conditions since Saturday. Donika was Kosovar, and she lived with her family in San Michele all’Adige in the province of Trento.
On Saturday she left with her sister to join relatives in Kosovo and spend a few days of vacation in her country. The 24-year-old had graduated fromUniversity of Verona, supporting himself thanks to a job at Mediaworld. Now, having finished university, she was preparing to start a new job.
On Saturday around 6.30 the two sisters in the Volkswagen Polo were driving along the Castilian, when shortly after the AlƬper supermarket in Paese they collided head-on with a truck coming in the opposite direction. Donika’s condition immediately appeared desperate, while her sister, 25, was only slightly injured. After five days in intensive care, the girl died.
