In Puglia 10 deaths and 8,826 cases, 29.3% of the tests
There are 8,826 new cases of Covid detected in Puglia out of 30,097 daily tests recorded, with an incidence of 29.3%. The victims were 10. The most affected province is that of Bari (2,802 cases), followed by that of Lecce (1,989), Taranto (1,267) and Brindisi (935). In Foggia there were 923 cases and 743 in Bat. The positives residing outside the region are 138 and 29 those for which the province of origin has not yet been defined. Currently positive people are 74,495, of which 432 are hospitalized in a non-critical area (yesterday 414) and 17 in intensive care (like yesterday).
In Tuscany 5,644 new positives, 8 deaths
In Tuscany there are 1,245,459 cases of coronavirus positivity, 5,644 more than yesterday (1,157 confirmed with molecular swab and 4,487 from rapid antigen test). New cases are 0.5% more than the previous day’s total. The healed grew by 0.2% and reached 1,162,349 (93.3% of total cases). Today 2,473 molecular swabs and 20,238 rapid antigenic swabs were performed, of which 24.9% were positive. On the other hand, 7,032 subjects tested today (with antigenic and / or molecular swab, excluding control swabs), of which 80.3% were positive. The currently positive are 72,891 today, + 5.6% compared to yesterday. The hospitalized are 623 (15 more than yesterday), of which 26 in intensive care (stable).
Today there are 8 new deaths, 2 men and 6 women with an average age of 87.4 years: 3 in Florence, 1 in Prato, 2 in Pistoia, 1 in Massa Carrara, 1 in Pisa. Overall, 72,268 people are in isolation at home, as they have mild symptoms that do not require hospital care, or are symptom-free (3,839 more than yesterday, up 5.6%). The people hospitalized in the beds dedicated to Covid patients today in Tuscany are a total of 623 (15 more than yesterday, plus 2.5%), 26 in intensive care (stable compared to yesterday).
Veneto, 10,052 new cases and 8 victims in 24 hours
The cases of new infections from Covid in Veneto in the last 24 hours in the last 24 hours still exceed the ceiling of ten thousand: 10,052 compared to 10,745 compared to yesterday. Instead, there are 8 victims which brings the overall figure to 14,845. This was revealed by the bulletin of the Veneto Region. The total number of infections since the beginning of the epidemic rises to 1,916,895. The number of positives grows to 93.102 (+4.990). The number of patients admitted to the medical area also rises, now 828 (+481), and that referred to those admitted to intensive care, 41 (+5).
In Calabria 3,844 new infections, +2 intensive therapies, +9 hospitalizations and 3 deaths
According to the Covid-19 emergency bulletin released by the Health Protection Department of the Calabria Region, 3,844 new infections are registered (out of 8,627 swabs carried out), +542 recovered and 3 deaths (for a total of 2,693 deaths). The bulletin also records +3,299 currently positive, +9 hospitalizations (for a total of 264) and, finally, +2 intensive care (for a total of 10).
In Basilicata 1,084 positives out of 2,580 positives
1,084 positives emerged in Basilicata yesterday, after the examination of 2,580 swabs (molecular and antigenic): this was announced by the regional task force on the pandemic, adding that other 431 recoveries were also recorded. 72 people are hospitalized in Lucanian hospitals (three more than yesterday), of which one in intensive care, at San Carlo di Potenza. The currently positive Lucanians are 11,572. The Lucanian death toll from the pandemic is 903 (no deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours), while 137,124 recoveries have been recorded so far.
