Covid in Fvg: 1,514 new infections and 15 deaths, 31 hospitalizations in intensive care

UDINE. In Friuli Venezia Giulia there are 1,514 new infections reported in the regional bulletin of Saturday 12 February, where 15 deaths are also recorded.

In detail, 465 new infections were detected on 6,585 molecular swabs, with a positive percentage of 7.06%. There are also 11,451 rapid antigenic tests carried out, from which 1,049 cases were detected (9.16%).

People hospitalized in intensive care drop to 31, as well as patients hospitalized in other departments which drop to 388. As regards the trend of the spread of the virus among the population, the most affected group is the 40-49 year old (17, 44%), followed by 50-59 (14.00%) and 30-39 (13.61%).

Today the deaths of 15 people are recorded: a 98-year-old man from Trieste (who died in an RSA), a 95-year-old man from Trieste (who died in hospital), a 94-year-old man from Cormons (who died in hospital) , an 89-year-old man from Ronchi dei Legionari (who died in hospital), an 82-year-old man from Magnano in Riviera (who died in hospital), a 79-year-old man from Trieste (who died in hospital), a 77-year-old man from Monfalcone (who died in hospital), a 77-year-old woman from Cividale del Friuli (who died in hospital), a 77-year-old woman from San Leonardo (who died in hospital), a 75-year-old man from Roveredo in Piano (who died in hospital) , a 73-year-old man from Spilimbergo (who died in an RSA), a 71-year-old man from Trieste (who died in hospital), a 69-year-old man from Trieste (who died in an RSA), a 68-year-old man from Trieste ( died in hospital) and finally a 66-year-old man from Muggia (who died in hospital).

Since the beginning of the pandemic, deaths have risen overall to 4,637, with the following territorial subdivision: 1,122 in Trieste, 2,223 in Udine, 889 in Pordenone and 403 in Gorizia. The totally healed are 254,802, the clinically cured 330, while the number of people currently in isolation on the regional territory is reduced, which turn out to be 35,139.

In Friuli Venezia Giulia a total of 295,327 people were positive with the following territorial division: 63,755 in Trieste, 122,708 in Udine, 71,398 in Pordenone, 33,188 in Gorizia and 4,278 from outside the region. The total of positives was reduced by 4 units following the review of the same number of tests.

As far as the regional health system is concerned, the following positives were found: in the Giuliano Isontina university health care unit of 3 nurses, 4 doctors, a social health worker, 3 technicians and a therapist; in the Friuli Centrale University Healthcare Company of an administrative, an assistant, 6 nurses, 2 doctors, 4 social health workers, a technician and a therapist; in the Western Friuli health authority of a driver, a pharmacist, 4 nurses and a social health worker; in the maternal-infant Irccs Burlo Garofolo of a nurse and a midwife; in the Irccs Cro of Aviano of an administrative.

With regard to residences for the elderly in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 20 guests and 22 operators were infected.
