Covid, infections on the rise: in Fvg there are 2,607 new cases, five deaths

UDINE. On Tuesday 5 July in Friuli Venezia Giulia 292 new infections were detected on 3,530 molecular swabs. There are also 7,211 rapid antigenic tests carried out, from which 2,315 cases were detected, for a total of 2,607. There are 7 people hospitalized in intensive care while there are 165 patients hospitalized in other wards.

The deaths of 5 people are recorded, according to the following territorial subdivision: 1 in Trieste; 3 in Udine; 1 in Gorizia. The total number of people who have died since the beginning of the pandemic is 5,167, with the following territorial subdivision: 1,294 in Trieste, 2,422 in Udine, 974 in Pordenone and 477 in Gorizia. Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 408,763 people have been positive.
