A coveted cruise in the middle of the Mediterranean that soon turns into an “odyssey” filled with positive swabs, quarantines and, last but not least, a very salty return that in all probability will never be reimbursed. This is the misadventure denounced by Francesca Florimbii, professor of Philology of Italian literature at the University of Bologna. “It was a nightmare, truly a nightmare – she tells on the phone as an ambulance takes her home at her expense, despite having no symptoms – if I had known what the situation would be on board I would never have boarded that ship”.
