Overall victims amounted to 4,013
(ANSA) – TRIESTE, 04 DEC – Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia, on 8,169 molecular swabs, 737 new infections have been detected with a positive percentage of 9.02%. There are also 17,733 rapid antigenic tests carried out, from which 92 cases (0.52%) were detected. Today there are 5 deaths: a 90-year-old man from Roveredo in Piano who died in hospital, an 83-year-old man from Resia who died in hospital, two 79-year-olds from Trieste who died in hospital; a 76-year-old from Trieste in hospital. This was announced by the Deputy Governor of the Region with responsibility for Health Riccardo Riccardi.
The deaths totaled 4,013, with the following territorial subdivision: 928 in Trieste, 2,048 in Udine, 717 in Pordenone and 320 in Gorizia. The totally healed are 122,095, the clinically healed 227, while the people in isolation are 7,535.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 134,176 people have been positive with the following territorial division: 31,748 in Trieste, 57,543 in Udine, 26,104 in Pordenone, 16,628 in Gorizia and 1,853 from outside the region. The total number of positive cases was reduced by 4 units following antigenic tests not confirmed by molecular swab (1 case in the Gorizia area and 3 in the Trieste area).
As regards the regional health system, a psychologist, a social health worker, a pharmacist and a nurse from the Central Friuli University Health Authority were found to be positive; a nurse, a manager and a rehabilitation therapist from the Giuliano Isontina University Healthcare Company; a nurse from the Western Friuli Health Authority.
17 cases were then detected among the guests of the residences for the elderly in the region (Trieste, Grado, San Dorligo della Valle, Pordenone), in addition 12 operators were positive within the structures themselves (Trieste, Grado, San Dorligo della Valle , Udine, Codroipo, Maniago, Monfalcone, Rivignano).
