The owner of the place received a notification, through his cell phone application, that someone had entered his home.
Around 8:00 p.m. he saw that a tenant, of Venezuelan nationality, whom he recognized as Eduardo, entered to steal.
The subject took a gold ring, a gold chain and pendant, and a cell phone.
Upon realizing this, he confronted the subject to return his things, however, the man began to threaten him with death if he continued asking him to return his things.
The victim called ECU 911 to ask for help, so personnel from the Ambato South District of the National Police arrived at the scene, so the criminal, upon seeing the uniformed officers, ran and fled the scene.
The uniformed officers took the procedure of the case and explained to the victim the procedure to follow to continue the investigation of the case. (GVA)
