After the payment of a fine, the “Tenace” trawler was released from seizure by the Croatian authorities. The boat left the port of Pula to head towards the Italian coast. Yesterday afternoon the motor trawler, due to the encroachment in Croatian territorial waters, was stopped by a patrol boat of the Croatian captaincy, which had taken it to the port of Pola where it had been kidnapped. The crew consists of five Italians.
Prime Minister Maro Draghi today, upon arrival in Brussels, met with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic, with whom he spoke about the Italian fishing boat seized in Croatian territorial waters. President Draghi was constantly informed in the afternoon on the developments of the situation, expressing satisfaction a few hours later, at the news of the release from seizure of the fishing boat.
