HEART. There is also the Cuorgnatese painter Franco Grisolano, aka Fragri, head of the “Spiritual naturalistic” painting on leaf, among the 20 artists who from Monday 2 to Wednesday 12 August, exhibit their works at the contemporary art exhibition at Palazzo Priuli Bon on the Grand Canal in Venice, in conjunction with the Architecture Biennale held in the Serenissima. It is only the last, prestigious showcase outside the local borders in order of time, certainly deserved, for Grisolano.

“I am delighted to be among the twenty artists exhibiting in this exhibition thanks to the cultural association I due colli di Terni that I got to know last year when I participated in an exhibition at the Diocesan Museum of the Umbrian city that was open and closed in a single day, October 24, 2020, due to the pandemic – confides Fragri -. I participated in the competition and was selected for the contemporary art exhibition held at the same time as the Architecture Biennale. In Venice, like all other artists, I exhibit only one work, a view of Turin. From 8 to 12 September, however, I will participate in the contemporary art exhibition “Spicy Emotions” to be held at the Dac Museum in Diamante, Calabria, organized by the Art Global cultural association which will take place in conjunction with the 29th edition of the Festival of peperoncino, an event which will be attended by important names in the world of entertainment such as Riccardo Scamarcio, Giulio Berruti, Orietta Berti, Mita Medici, Peppe Voltarelli, Cristiano Malgioglio, Lallo Circosta and Gigi Miseferi ».

Also in the center in the province of Cosenza, Franco Grisolano, who is vice-president of the artistic cenacle of the city of the two towers, the Carlin Bergoglio artistic cultural center, will bring one of his works. Born in Cuorgnè on 4 June 1962, Grisolano carries out his artistic activity in via Camposanto 25. The peculiarity of his artistic expression is the use of the oil painting technique performed by intuition, to feed the idea of a healthy art, wisely investigated, constructed and such as to merge with the taste of the painter who is completely involved in recreating the perspective depths, the chromatic values, the poetic structure in the name of nature and things.

“I have always had the hobby of painting – adds the eclectic artist from Cuorgnati – but for some years I have been particularly interested in painting with oil on the leaves because, in addition to being resistant, they have different sizes and, therefore, I can adapt the subject that I consider most suitable. My love for nature led me to take care of the details, the play of light and colors, as in a photographic vision of what surrounds me.
