[대구=뉴시스] Reporter Jeong Chang-oh = Daegu City announced on the 1st that it will promote the ‘2024 Cadastral Resurvey Project’ targeting 1,511 lots in 10 districts in order to correct land boundaries and resolve disputes.

The cadastral resurvey project is a project to correct registration information in cadastral records that do not match the actual use of land and convert cadastral boundaries into digital cadastral systems. It is being promoted until 2030 to contribute to efficient management of the land and protection of citizens’ property rights. It is a national project.

This year’s project target is 1,511 lots (317,000㎡) in 10 districts of 9 districts and counties, which were designated as cadastral resurvey districts in 2024 through deliberation by the Cadastral Resurvey Committee after a resident information session and consent request process.

Nine districts and counties plan to complete the land status survey and resurvey survey and proceed according to business procedures such as boundary adjustment, objection, and adjustment fee settlement.

Daegu City Urban Housing Bureau Director Heo Joo-young said, “The cadastral resurvey project is a national project that is carried out from surveying to registration without burdening citizens with any cost. It is a good opportunity to resolve the inconveniences and disputes between neighbors that citizens have experienced due to land boundary discrepancies, so we ask for active understanding and cooperation.” “I ask you to do so,” he said, adding, “I will do my best to ensure that there is no negligence in carrying out the project.”
