If the Dallara Stradale seems too restrained for your tastes, the EXP version is ready, made for use on the track only. The technical recipe is simple, at least on paper: more power, more aerodynamics, less weight and more braking power thanks to a Brembo system with larger discs. What every enthusiast of beautiful driving craves.
Hence the Ford-derived 2.3-liter 4-cylinder turbo engine is tuned to deliver 500 HP of power (100 HP more than the Stradale) and 720 Nm of torque. The transmission is entrusted to a six-speed sequential gearbox with lightning-fast shift times. The data relating to the maximum speed, equal to 290 per hour, is impressive, but the fluid dynamic sophistication is even more so: the car, in fact, benefits from a further advanced flat bottom and a lower ground clearance than the Stradale.
At the rear stands a large biplane wing that generates up to 1,270 kg of vertical load at 260 km / h (450 kg more than the Stradale). This allows the vehicle to achieve lateral accelerations of 2.7 g. A fact made possible also by slick tires. Thanks to the load-bearing structure (reinforced compared to the Stradale) made with carbon fiber, the car weighs just 820 kg. Price? Around 200 thousand euros.
