Actor David Gail has died at the age of 58. He played Stuart Carson, who became the fiancé of Brenda Walsh, played by Shannen Doherty, in the essential series Beverly Hills.

The sad news was announced by his sister, Katie Colmenares, a week after his death, on her Instagram account. “There hasn’t been a day in my life when you weren’t by my side, always my wingman, always my best friend ready to take on anything and anyone with me. I will never look at bears the same way again but I will hold you so tightly in my heart every day, you beautiful, loving, amazing, fearless human being. I miss you every second of every day, forever, there will never be anyone like you,” she wrote in the caption of a photo of the two of them in each other’s arms.

Sudden cardiac arrest

The actor was found unconscious by first responders and was placed on life support for several days before being pronounced dead on January 16. A representative for the family told E! News yesterday that David Gail died following complications from sudden cardiac arrest.

“The family has no reason to believe that the cause of his death was any other than heart failure,” reports the communiqué forwarded to publication. “David will be remembered for his love of comedy and for his absolute passion and dedication to his friends and family. He had a unique quality, that of making everyone feel special in his presence.”

David’s mother Mary Gail added in a separate statement: “We are extremely touched by the outpouring of love from David’s dedicated fans and partners. We are grateful for all the support received during this very difficult time. »
