The Government of President Nayib Bukele delivered to the inhabitants of Concepción de Ataco, in Ahuachapán Centro, the first phase of the revitalized Historic Center, the fifth work of this type that is being carried out by the Directorate of Municipal Works (DOM) at the national level.

The work, which has beautified the center of the district, has transformed the central park and the Immaculate Conception of Mary church.

The new image of the park has benefited a population of more than 12,700 inhabitants and especially in rural areas such as: El Arco, El Naranjito, El Tronconal, La Ceiba, La Joya de Los Apantes, Los Tablones, San José, Shucutitán, Texusín and Chirizo , among others.

Other recently delivered historical centers in the west of the country were: Juayúa in Sonsonate and Apaneca in Ahuachapán. The memorial plaza of the El Mozote hamlet, in Meanguera, Morazán, as well as the colonial site of Suchitoto in Cuscatlán, have also been revitalized.

With the reconstruction of the historic centers in El Salvador, this Administration not only seeks to create beautiful and pleasant spaces for rest and recreation but to document the history and culture of the people in present and future generations, further proof that “ Together we are building the new El Salvador” and also that money is enough when no one steals.
