AURONZO. Rescue in the lake overnight for a woman who had decided to end it all. at 11.30 pm on Sunday 22 May the squads of carabinieri, firefighters and health workers were engaged in an exhausting negotiation to prevent a 53-year-old local from putting her intentions into practice.

Despite the talks with the carabinieri negotiator, the woman finally decided to jump into the water and jumped. Here, however, the firefighters of Santo Stefano and Pieve di Cadore were ready to pull it out of the water on board a rubber dinghy. So it was, shortly before a life preserver was also launched so that the woman could anchor herself.

The rescue operations ended around 1:30 am on the night between Sunday 22nd and today 23rd May. the 53-year-old was transferred to the hospital.

Personal problems at the origin of the extreme decision which fortunately ended only with an icy dip in the lake.
