And, if it does not arrive, another way will be sought.
Funds for the reception of refugees from Ukraine
In addition to the extension of aid for bills and fuels, the incoming decree could include: other funds for the reception of refugees, an expansion of the social bonus, guarantees for the liquidity of companies and support for the most affected categories. Among the production chains that have required support are that of wood and ceramics, with problems also linked to the recovery of materials.
The requests in the majority
The requests of the majority are already on the table: from the M5s, which asked to reset VAT on food products such as bread and milk, to the Pd, which hypothesized to introduce an energy allowance for the weakest families and to intervene on the cost of bus passes. While, on the fiscal side, the delicate mediation with the center-right is at stake, hanging on the thread of the dual system and the land registry.
Faster processes for photovoltaic systems
In the energy chapter – in addition to the new supply agreements with Algeria, Congo, Angola and Mozambique, Egypt and Qatar – the streamlining of the authorization procedures for wind and photovoltaic production will also be strategic, for which the operators of the sector would have required a technical figure of ‘simplificator’. The project for a regasification plant in Porto Empedocle, in the province of Agrigento, next to the two floating plants already announced, could become topical again. But to achieve energy independence from Moscow, Italy would be probing all possible ways: from geothermal energy to floating wind farms, from a possible “unblock drills” measure to (timed) maximization of production from existing coal plants, going through an energy saving policy.
