TREVISO. Thousands of cubic meters of water are lost every year from the Marca water network. Good water, which comes out of the old and faulty pipes and flows into the ground, and therefore into the aquifer, but in fact the public infrastructure is leaking. The problem is known and in recent years both Ats and the Piave Consortium, which together manage the network of almost all the Treviso municipalities, have spent millions hunting down and closing hundreds of leaks.
