In order to periodically supply medicines and supplies to the National Hospital of Itauguá, the Ministry of Public Health and Social Welfare sent for the fourth time an important batch of the basic list to prioritize the response to patients.
The National Hospital of Itauguá, a benchmark for medical care in the country, has received an important replenishment with a fourth shipment of medical supplies in less than 10 days.
The convoy, made up of three vehicles loaded with priority medicines and medical supplies, arrived at the Hospital facilities this morning. The diversity of products included in this shipment ranges from antibiotics, immunoglobulin and physiological solution to dialysis supplies and kits for the Diabetes and Hypertension Program, among other essential elements.
This new contribution is added to the three shipments made during the last week, which included surgical kits, oncological medications, anesthetics, serums and suture material.
The Minister of Health, Dr. María Teresa Barán, has instructed the prioritization of administrative and logistical efforts to maintain a continuous flow of high-turnover medications and medical resources to the various services that make up the Public Health system.
