The last duel of the presidential candidates before the second round was full of confrontation between Petr Pellegrini and Ivan Korčok, in RTVS they criticized each other for the use of patriotism in the campaign, for problems with the construction of the Rázsochy hospital and for their foreign policy positions.

The chairman of Hlas again tried to address the voters of Štefan Harabin, Korčok reproached him for not limiting himself to his statements about NATO and the European Union. Pellegrini did not clearly say that Slovakia would defend its allies in the Alliance in the event of an attack.

The debate took place just hours before the start of the moratorium, which has been in effect since midnight on Wednesday. The run-off vote is expected to be very close. According to the latest model of the Ipsos agency for Denník N, Ivan Korčok would get 50.1 percent of the votes, Peter Pellegrini 49.9 percent.

The discussion was evaluated by commentator Jana Shemesh, Chief Digital Officer of Denník N Tomáš Bella, commentators Zoltán Szalay, Juraj Javorský, Tomáš Gális and head of podcasts Braňo Bezák. Their comments are sometimes contradictory – it is a subjective assessment of the performance of the candidates and how they can affect the voters.
