The Thuringian CDU wants to campaign for votes in the state elections in the fall with job guarantees for teachers, subsidies for the purchase of the first home, reductions in bureaucracy and deportation centers.
According to the program for the state elections presented on Thursday in Erfurt, one of the priorities for a government under CDU leadership should be education. Accordingly, teachers trained in the Free State should receive a guarantee of employment after completing their studies. In addition, children should only be allowed to move from primary school to the next school level if they can read, write and calculate correctly.
Home ownership subsidy for families
One of the program’s ten core objectives also includes a subsidy for families who want to buy a home. According to the program, this subsidy for your first property should be at least the amount of the real estate transfer tax.
When it comes to reducing bureaucracy, the CDU is promising an eight-week approval period. “Where possible, applications should automatically be considered approved if they have not been processed within eight weeks,” the paper says. Areas in which this is planned include building law, business registrations, child benefit payments or waiting times at the driving license office.
Deportation centers planned
In asylum policy, the CDU has announced the establishment of deportation centers for rejected asylum seekers. Anyone who has a rejected application should be accommodated in such a deportation center.
The program’s main topics also include healthcare and economics. Among other things, master training should be free of charge.
