Islamabad (Ummat News) Before Eid, after petrol, the government has given electricity to the citizens. Nepra has issued a notification to increase the price of electricity by 2 rupees 75 paise per unit.
The cost of electricity has been increased in the second quarter of the current financial year. According to the notification, additional charges will be made from the consumers in April, May and June. According to the notification, the increase will put an additional burden of Rs 85 billion 20 crore on the consumers.
