Elemental it was the last film of the Pixar to arrive at the cinema last summer, after having premiered at the last Cannes Film Festival. Elemental, is a possible sequel in the works?

Set in the city of Element City – in which the inhabitants of the four elements live together – the film tells of the birth of the relationship between Wade Ripple (dubbed in the original language by Mamoudou Athie and in Italian by Stefano De Martino) e Human Lumen (voiced by Leah Lewis and Valentina Romani). The first of hers is a shy and clumsy water boy, while Ember is a fiery girl who, since childhood, has helped her father in the family shop and can’t wait to be able to manage it as she pleases her.
Interviewed by The Direct, Leah Lewis updated fans on a possible sequel to the animated film:
“Oh wow, if I had the details, I sure wouldn’t be allowed to say anything. But I really hope so that there is a possibility. But at the moment, I have no details to give, just the hope that it can happen.”
Given the initial failure of Elemental at the box office, the film was on its way to becoming one of the flops of Disney/Pixarbut the recovery of the film and the results achieved with streaming could push us to consider a sequel of the film. At the moment, however, the only two films confirmed by the animation studio giant are Inside Out 2 ed Elio.
