New protest action by the Extinction Rebellion group
(ANSA) – ROME, JUN 24 – New blitz by the environmentalists of the Extinction Rebellion group on the Grande Raccordo Anulare of Rome.
This morning, around 7.30, a group of about 10 activists stopped the traffic on the Gra in the stretch of road between the Casilina and Appia exits, sparking the protest of motorists. On the spot there are interventions of the traffic police and the Tor Carbone police station who have restored calm. The ten were taken to the police station to be identified.
In recent days, the same group has carried out a blitz on the Grande Raccordo Anulare to protest against the slaughter of wild boars ordered by the authorities. (HANDLE).
