Pinneberg, April 17, 2024 – The Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Viromed Medical AG, Prof. Dr. Gregor Morfill, has informed the company that he is resigning from his supervisory board mandate with immediate effect for reasons of age. His departure will be by mutual agreement. Prof. Dr. Gregor Morfill will end his professional life and would like to devote himself to his family and private life in view of his upcoming 80th birthday.
The board will immediately submit an application for the judicial appointment of Dr. Jan Delphendahl, lawyer and notary as well as a specialist in commercial and corporate law, as a member of the supervisory board in order to ensure that the company’s supervisory board is filled in accordance with the law and the articles of association and that the committee has a quorum. It is intended that Dr. Delphendahl as successor to Prof. Dr. Morfill to be elected chairman of the supervisory board.
The Executive Board and Supervisory Board would like to thank Prof. Dr. Gregor Morfill for his many years of very successful work as chairman of the supervisory board of Viromed Medical AG and the excellent cooperation.
