“Here the protagonist, who works as a waitress in a luxury residence in Paris, attends an interview for a new job”, says in the video Éric Gravel, director of Full Time – One hundred percent. “By observing her, we understand who she really is: a very different person from the one we first met”.
The film is about Julie, a single mother who lives in the provinces and supports the family by working as a waitress in Paris. When she finally gets the chance to interview for a job more suited to her skills than her, which could change her life, the city is in chaos over a public transport strike.
Éric Gravel is a Canadian director who grew up in France. He directed Crash Test Aglaé (2017). Full Time – One hundred percent was presented at the 78th edition of the Venice Film Festival, in the Horizons section and was released in cinemas on March 31, 2022, distributed by I Wonder Pictures.
