A special Christmas concert, “Witnesses of Christmas: Christ Carols,” celebrating the birth of the Savior Jesus Christ, was produced by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Europe. The concert presents a collection of beautifully sung traditional Christmas carols in different styles from several European countries. The music will take viewers on a journey that highlights cultural riches and unity, celebrating the birth of the Savior Jesus Christ.

The music for the concert was arranged by Kurt Bestor, with Grammy-nominated Jenny Oaks Baker as musical coordinator. The concert was recorded in the historic Wiesbaden Kurhaus, with narration by Frenchman Ophélie Meunier.

The songs were chosen from different countries and performed by European artists who are members of the Church. Serhii Borysenko, a Polish musician, said: “For me and my wife, the days when we recorded the concert were like an escape from the frenetic world into the world of the nativity of Jesus Christ.”

Naura, a Spanish musician, said: “Thanks to music I could feel the great love that our Heavenly Father has for all His children, bringing together so many musicians from different backgrounds and languages in the same place and with the same feelings. This concert was a great opportunity to share the Gospel with the whole world and show that God is eager to bless his children wherever they are.”
