The Voralpen-Businesspark emerged from a cooperation between the city of Wels and 16 Wels-Land municipalities. The aim is to create attractive areas for companies to settle or expand in the region. The municipalities should bring in attractive business development areas, and the municipal taxes will be distributed according to a fixed key.
