The state will use all instruments to defend a robust democracy, said Faeser in the Bundestag. The demonstrations showed that the overwhelming majority in Germany stands for freedom, law and the values of the Federal Republic. Hundreds of thousands of people took part in the demonstrations against right-wing extremism and the AfD in various German cities last weekend. FDP parliamentary group deputy Kuhle also acknowledged the protests. It is right to demonstrate for the Basic Law.
