A few weeks after Shakira’s statue will be revealed on the Gran Malecón in BarranquillaSanta Marta shared with the world a new sculpture that pays tribute to one of the most beloved athletes in the entire country.
This is Radamel Falcaothe Colombian striker who managed to shine in the highest spheres of international soccer and, in addition, became an icon of the Colombian Soccer Team.
This statue, which began construction in 2018, was completed on Sunday, January 14, by the artist Samario Antonio Irismawho hopes that his latest work will be a tourist attraction within the city.
It should be noted that, for several years, the artist left the statue as a blank canvas and it was in the second week of January 2024, that, after six years, he decided to take his painting and add the uniform of the Colombian National Team.
