A 17-year-old boy was saved last night in Bobbio, in Valtrebbia in Piacentino, after a fall of 15 meters from the State road 45 to the bed of the Trebbia river. The young man was transported in very serious conditions by helicopter to the Maggiore hospital in Parma to be hospitalized in intensive care due to the very serious traumas he suffered after the fall.
The dynamics and the causes are still being investigated by the Carabinieri of the Compagnia di Bobbio: from the first information it seems that the young man, around 4 o’clock this night, together with other friends was walking as a joke on the parapet overlooking the Trebbia. .
Then he would lose his balance by falling down. The firefighters and mountain rescue intervened to save him: at dawn the 17-year-old was recovered thanks to a 118 helicopter that arrived from Brescia which loaded him in flight with a winch and urgently transported him to the Parma hospital.
