Merksem –

Tonight, the K-pop festival Music Bank will take place in the Sportpaleis for the very first time in our country. And you’ve noticed this all day long in Antwerp, where many fans walk around to catch a glimpse of their idols.

On Saturday afternoon, dozens of fans were waiting at the Hilton hotel for the teenage stars and there was also a long line of fans at bubble tea shop 8tea5 in Korte Klarenstraat.

It is the first time that the festival takes place in Belgium. The previous edition attracted around 35,000 fans to Paris for a sold-out edition. The festival is named after the TV show of the same name in South Korea and has existed since 2011. In total, more than 250,000 fans from all over the world have come to the festival.

These are the artists who will perform at the Sportpaleis on Saturday evening: Tomorrow x Together, (G)I-DLE, StayC, Oneus, Zerobaseone and RIIZE.
