The Casanare Police Traffic section provided details of the fatal traffic accident that occurred on the Guateque – Aguaclara road, at kilometer 79+900 in the Aguaclara jurisdiction.
This accident involved a truck with license plate RJQ-223, driven by Nuri de Jesús Vahos Velilla, who was injured.
Among the passengers are Crisanto Sabogal Villalobos, 70 years old, who suffered severe head trauma, Jorge Leonardo Viuche Ducuara, with cervical trauma, and Julian Sabogal Vahos, 34 years old, with lacerations in different parts of the body. All were treated at the San Luis de Gaceno medical center from where they were referred to other places depending on their degree of complexity.
Unfortunately, a woman identified as Sandra Yuliana Silva González died at the scene.
The police authority indicates in the report that the truck was traveling in the Guateque-Aguaclara road direction, invaded the opposite lane and when trying to return to the corresponding lane, it lost control, causing it to completely overturn.
