“The North of Cauca Reads, Writes and Tells.”
The First Book Fair will take place in Puerto Tejada with a series of activities: ““The North of Cauca Reads, Writes and Tells”an event that will take place on Friday, April 19, starting at 9:00 am, on the Malecón del Río.
This fair is organized by the Municipal Administration of Puerto Tejada, the National Police for Children and Adolescents, Comfacauca, Coasi (Artistic and Social Corporation), Ideoformus, Editorial Imago and the Essays Corporation.
This initiative, which has raised great expectations among the population, brings together various organizations and entities committed to promoting reading, writing and storytelling in the region.
Those attending this event will enjoy a wide variety of cultural, educational and recreational activities. The Comfacauca Public Library will provide cultural programming, the training service with a workshop, the Complementary School Day (JEC) program, which will be present with a literary games station and the Recreation area with recreational activities for the little ones.
The Mayor’s Office of Puerto Tejada will establish a reading area to encourage this habit among children and adults. The other organizations will contribute with book stands, audiovisual samples and memory processes. It will also feature the participation of local writers, who will share their experiences and works with the public.
This contest is designed for the whole family, with activities ranging from reading to recreation, including culture and learning.
