The First Dessert Fair: Marvelously Woman, held on March 16 and 17 at the Gran Plaza Alcaraván Shopping Center in Yopal, concluded with resounding success, reporting sales that exceeded 16 million pesos.
This event was held for the benefit of the 30 participating entrepreneurs; Among them were women caregivers, people with disabilities, young entrepreneurs, and mothers who were heads of households, who offered products of the highest quality.
Approximately 2,000 visitors enjoyed a wide variety of desserts, delighting their palates with exceptional flavors.
This initiative, led by the social manager, Diana Soler Zárate, in collaboration with the Secretary of Integration, Social Development and Women, Neidy Orostégui, stood out not only for its gastronomic impact, but also for the support it provides by making visible ventures led by vulnerable sectors of society.
The Dessert Fairs will continue, with the next edition being in the city of Yopal, where children will be the protagonists, promoting inclusion and empowerment from an early age.
During the event, a collaboration with the United Nations (UN) was revealed to develop a project aimed at benefiting young entrepreneurs in the region, with the aim of boosting the local economy and offering personal and professional development opportunities to Casanareña youth.
After finishing the day, the social manager expressed her gratitude to all the participants, visitors and organizers who contributed to the success of these two days of work.
