An aerial view of some of the 20 luxury villas destroyed on May 11 by the Coastal fire in Laguna Niguel, Southern California. The fire, fueled by heat and strong winds, developed into a gorge and climbed the hill until it reached the houses, which overlook the Pacific Ocean. More than a month later, the debris removal operations are still underway. California is hit by a drought now considered chronic.
