Foreign minors alone in Genoa: an odyssey between hotels, communities, canteens for the poor and nights on the street

Saidou Sow is no longer a minor, and he is no longer alone. Today he is 23 years old, he works in a bakery and does mentoring activities, that is, he gives a hand to those who have just arrived here and are lost, like he was. But that’s the end of the story. To get there, he went through all the possible boxes of the path of an unaccompanied foreign minor in Genoa: he slept on the street, “on the benches of the old port”.
