Members of the Judicial Center of the Royal Gendarmerie in Tinerhir, upon instructions from the Public Prosecution at the Court of First Instance in Tinerhir, were able to arrest two persons on suspicion of involvement in a case related to fraud and deception, in both Kelaat M’Gouna and Boumalne Dades.

According to data obtained by the electronic newspaper Hespress, the Crown Prosecutor at the First Instance Court in Tinghir received a complaint from one of the victims accusing a person living in the city of Kelaat M’Gouna of defrauding him, and the Judicial Center of the Royal Gendarmerie was assigned to open an investigation into the matter.

The investigation, which was opened by members of the Royal Gendarmerie under the supervision of the Public Prosecution, resulted in the arrest of the first suspect in Kelaat M’Gouna, and the arrest of another person in the city of Boumalne Dades.

After in-depth research, it became clear that the first suspect had previously defrauded a number of people of large sums of money. Among them was an immigrant who was defrauded of an amount exceeding 600 thousand dirhams.

Members of the Royal Gendarmerie Judicial Center in the city of Tinghir continue to listen to the two arrested suspects, and deepen the investigation with them in order to reach their victims or the rest of the crimes committed by them or the names of people who are likely to participate in these criminal acts punishable by law.
