The First Criminal Circuit Court of Valledupar confirmed the decision adopted by the Seventh Municipal Criminal Court, by which the provisional release of Luz Enith Orozco Troya, former general services employee of Silvestre Dangond, was ordered.
This after finding that the position assumed by the office in the first instance was appropriate and in this way it set aside the arguments used by the victims’ representative.
It was established that this person, who is prosecuted for the theft of millions in the singer’s house, is obliged to appear at all appointments related to the case. Orozco Troya is currently at his residence in the municipality of Becerril, Cesar.
“We are beginning to feel that justice is beginning to be done because things are beginning to become clearer,” said Jeferson Cammaño, attorney for the former Dangond employee.
“In security camera videos, the moment was recorded when two men entered through the back of the house, broke a window and had access to the main room of the place, from where the sum of eight hundred and ninety million pesos in cash was stolen.” The Attorney General’s Office detailed in a statement.
It should be remembered that the event was recorded on the security cameras of the Vallenato artist’s house.
