The Council of Ministers approved the “bridge” decree which governs the single allowance in 2021, for families who are not entitled to other allowances today. “To support families and the birth rate, concrete tools are needed such as the single allowance for children, which will be a reality from July. The single allowance will range from a minimum of € 30 to a maximum of € 217.8 per month for each child. The bridge measure is valid from July to December 2021 for those who do not already have family allowances. The cores of up to 50 thousand euros of Isee will be entitled to it. Families with Isee up to 7000 euros will have 217.8 euros per child if they have at least 3 children. 50 euros more are provided for each disabled child.

The new tool to support families with children will start in stages. It is, in fact, a “bridging allowance” for six months, paid from 1 July to 31 December to families with children from zero to 18 years of age. It becomes permanent and universal from January 1, 2022, focused on the tax reform to replace existing deductions and bonuses that are not repealed for now, but remain in force until the end of the year.

For the management of the Recovery, we are moving towards a package limited to 500 hires of technicians, economists and engineers, for the task forces that will have to ground the resources of the Recovery Plan in the strict sense.
