As the epidemic heats up, Xi’an’s epidemic prevention measures have been upgraded. At present, Xi’an has 1 high-risk area and 13 medium-risk areas.

Li Wei, 31, from Chang’an District, Xi’an, is a patient with end-stage uremia. He has been receiving dialysis treatment for 13 years. On December 10, there was a confirmed case on the bus he was riding, and he was therefore listed as a close contact. On the 18th, he was arranged to be quarantined at the Northwest Hotel.

Before isolation, Li Wei had to go to the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University for dialysis every 3 days. After isolation, he appeared unwell. He has contacted relevant departments for coordination many times, hoping to go to the hospital for dialysis, but the other party only talked about communication and coordination, and the problem has not been resolved.

At around 11:30 on December 21st, Li Wei’s friend told The Epoch Times reporter that starting yesterday (20th), Li Wei had already experienced dizziness, nausea, and palpitation. He dared not eat or drink water for the past two days, so he could only rinse his mouth with water when he was thirsty.

Due to the long dialysis time, Li Wei’s kidney function has completely disappeared. Li Wei’s friend reported that since yesterday, Li Wei’s body was swollen and he was struggling to walk. Today, he felt a little tired and short of breath (weak voice). If he does not undergo dialysis, he may suffer from chest tightness, shortness of breath, heart failure, and risk of death.

Li Wei’s friends said that Li Wei’s parents are quarantining at home. They can’t go out to find relevant departments and can only be anxious at home. They call the epidemic prevention and control headquarters and the Chang’an District Government every day, and the answers they get are all saying ” Coordinating”.

Li Wei uses the phone number published on the Internet to call for help every day, but the call is still unreachable. He also contacted the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University, and the response he got was also “communication and coordination.” He told the person in charge of the hotel’s medical affairs that they said they would report it to the top, but they did not solve the problem.

Li Wei’s friend reported that there is no other way. What Li Wei needs most now is to help him get a dialysis as soon as possible. There are no other requirements (Li Wei cried). He doesn’t know how long he will be in isolation. He hopes that the government will have an emergency plan. If there is an emergency special patient in the future, he hopes to see a doctor in time.

Afterwards, the Epoch Times reporter dialed the number of the CDC in Chang’an District, Xi’an, but the voice response was stopped; the call of the CDC in Xi’an was unanswered; the reporter then dialed the Xi’an Epidemic Advisory Hotline 12345, and the automatic voice response said “the line is busy” , Record the request through voice message.

Li Wei’s friends kept sending out distress messages on the Internet. At around 4 pm on the 21st, Li Wei’s friend told reporters that an ambulance was coming to pick him up for dialysis. Li Wei said: “This time I really thank everyone for your help, otherwise I really have nothing to do.”

According to the “Beijing News”, on December 20, Ms. Dai, a resident of the central residential area in Yanta District, Xi’an, asked for help saying that she was suffering from advanced uremia and required dialysis three times a week. The community affected by the epidemic began on the 19th. She has not been dialysis for 4 days. At about 22:00 that day, Ms. Dai said that she was waiting for the CDC to arrange a vehicle to the relevant hospital for dialysis.

Mainland netizens said, “The virus is not terrible, and it’s really terrible to delay the illness.” “Without dialysis for 4 days, it’s basically not far from death. It’s too sad to have been banned from death by the new crown.” “Officials in Xi’an. Keep your own black hat, regardless of the life and death of the people at the bottom, close the area and close the road, close the clinic and close the class.” “Overcorrected, one size fits all.”

Qi Zhiyong, a victim of June 4th in Beijing, is also a patient with kidney failure. He told reporters that if dialysis patients are not allowed to undergo dialysis, they will face death, and they will be suffocated. If there are too many toxins in the water in the body, it will be life-threatening. If it is because of the epidemic that dialysis is not allowed, then it is simply intolerable.

Qi Zhiyong said that no matter how severe the epidemic is, patients will also have to undergo dialysis. In the situation like Xi’an, he couldn’t believe it. There was absolutely no humanity and no humanity. What if he was delayed for three or four days and died? It’s terrible.

On the afternoon of the 21st, the Shaanxi government of the Communist Party of China reported that from 0-24 o’clock on December 20, there were 43 newly confirmed cases in Shaanxi (42 in Xi’an and 1 in Xianyang). Since December 9, there have been 96 local confirmed cases in the province (91 in Xi’an, 3 in Yan’an, and 2 in Xianyang).

Because the CCP is accustomed to concealing the truth about the epidemic, official data have been questioned by the outside world.

According to Liu Feng, director of the Shaanxi Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention, in this round of the epidemic, Xi’an has seen insidious transmission, forming a certain scale of community transmission. There have been spilled cases, spreading to Xianyang, Yan’an, Guangzhou, and Beijing. The epidemic has entered the peak of case reporting. .
