Giorgio Santomaso who has been missing for two days

The 58-year-old Agordino, who now lives in Trento, passed away on Monday evening. There has been no news of him since he left home

TRENTO. No news and great apprehension for a couple of days for the fate of Giorgio Santomaso. The 58-year-old Agordino, who now lives in Trento, in the Madonna Bianca area, disappeared on Monday evening.

Santomaso had left his home for the last time, from his apartment in via Menguzzato, where he lives with his mother. Since then there has been no news of him and it was his family who alerted the police. At the time of his disappearance she was wearing a red windbreaker and red sneakers. The searches started immediately, but no traces of the man were found in the last hours.

Investigators searched the woods above Madonna Bianca, where the man used to take a walk from time to time, but nothing was found.

The appeal is: “anyone who has noticed or met him in the last 48 hours is requested to contact the police forces”.

Giorgio Santomaso works in the world of film productions as location manager for sets set up in Trentino with the Film Commission and in January 2021 he had worked on the filming of Massimo Donati’s film «Diary of spices».
