The governor of the department, Jorge Octavio Guzmán, and his government team arrived in the eastern Cauca subregion to, together with the communities, begin the construction process of the Development Plan for the period 2024-2027 of the municipality of Inzá.

This meeting marks an important phase in the development of the department of Cauca, with the active participation of the community, which is essential to identify and prioritize local needs, in addition to designing effective strategies that promote socioeconomic growth.

During the visit, the regional leader expressed his firm commitment to the well-being and progress of the department: “In this eastern region, four municipalities converge in this dialogue that has allowed us to advance significantly in lines of action. We are reviewing commitments with previous governments, in order to build on what was built. […] Today the rural sector has a different connotation, which is transformation through innovation, agribusiness and export to generate greater income and improve living conditions. In this journey through eastern Cauca we are creating synergy that will allow us to build in a participatory manner, but also aligned with the National Development Plan,” he stated.

During the months of February and March, various working groups, community meetings and public consultations will be held to collect the ideas, proposals and aspirations of each and every Caucano with the aim of designing a Development Plan that reflects the real needs. of the population.
